The second-hand marketplace Shoppers Voice Frustration About Sizing Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its size classifications for female and kids' apparel failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present a modified sizing category compared to what was initially listed because of the remapping.
The platform stated the updated approach better aligns with comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, which has left users frustrated.
Sizing System Changes
Earlier, the measurements included numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
Member Accounts
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, from Glasgow, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were showing in the marketplace as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they will likely be quite upset," she said.
Required Changes
Another shopper, located in England, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she stated.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: earlier, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices after backlash from users.
